Manager's Guide to MLC
Eligible Chickasaw elders, veterans and families with special needs or disabilities living within the Chickasaw Nation may qualify for the private driveway program.
Driveways are provided as a safe passage for emergency situations, medical services and visits from family members. Applicants must provide proof of ownership, proof of income and a Chickasaw citizenship card.
Applications are available online at Chickasaw.net/PrivateDriveway. You can also pick up an application at the Chickasaw Nation Roads Department Building, senior centers and area offices.
Chickasaw college students who are seeking an internship are invited to apply for our spring internship program.
Students will learn how to become effective ambassadors and real-world problem solvers while becoming strong, knowledgeable leaders through collaborative relationships.
Internships last six to 10 weeks and interns will receive a bi-weekly pay with provided housing accommodations.
Intern opportunities are based on students’ major and/or minor through the Chickasaw Nation and partnering external organizations.

Don’t forget to register for spooky tales as we take you on ghost adventures at Fort Washita!
Join us Oct. 25-29 at the Fort Washita Ghost Tours as we share a spooky experience. Tours will take you across the historic Fort Washita battle site while recounting ghostly tales. Tours begin at 7 p.m. and continue every 45 minutes until 9:25 p.m.
Tours are $5 per person. Reservations must be made in person or by phone.
